SUNDAY SOCIAL

Sunday Social

I"m linking up to Sunday Social this week brought to you by Neely!
This week's questions are childhood questions! YAY!!

1. What was your first car?

My first car: I didn't really get to enjoy my first car. I paid $500 for a 70 powder blue Mercury cougar when I was 16 and it's transmission blew out as it was being brought to my house.
this is almost what it looked like
My first car that I bought and was able to drive was a blue 86 Plymouth horizon
It definitely wasn't my dream car but I loved the freedom that came with it and I of course had my stickers all over the back glass of the bands I loved.

2. Who was your favorite childhood teacher?
I actually had a couple teachers that I thought highly of
Mrs. Hanes my fourth grade teacher
was such a delight to have.
In seventh grade I remember Mrs. Carr as being yet another
favorite. She was so kind. and lastly My 8th grade science teacher Mr.
Branch (I think). I hate that I forgot his name but he made science so
much fun. He was also in my group on a school trip we took called
outward bound.

3. Were you involved in any sports/extracurricular activities? Share pictures if you can!
The only extracurricular activity I was allowed to join was the yearbook staff in 8th grade. I loved it because even at that young of an age I LOVED taking pictures.

4. What was your favorite birthday party?
This Birthday was one of my most memorable birthdays. One because just about all my family was there and 2 because my mom got a helium tank and there were lots ob balloons.

I don't think there was party this birthday but I love the picture of me holding the cake my mom made for me. She always had such a gift when it came to making cakes

5. Who was your teen celebrity crush?
Boy I know this shows my age but I was so crazy about the coreys
Also the Wahlberg brothers donnie and Mark

And lastly I know they are not teens but I was crazy
about just about all the 80' hair bands
From Cinderella to Warrant including this guy Sebastian Bach

6. What show/movie did your parents not allow you to watch?
Growing up we were absolutely NOT allowed to watch The Simpsons. I swear I believe my brother and I were the only kids who didn't watch it. We were told that Bart was disrespectful to his parents so it was not allowed on our tv. I did find it quite funny though that we never missed an episode of Married with children. LOL!!

TUESDAY TOPICS

Tuesday Topics: Blog Identity

What is your blog about?

I guess you could say my blog is about

me. I share my interest, my family,

recipes  pictures, secrets, or just what

ever I feel like sharing when I have the

 time.

Why did you start blogging?

Well honestly This was not my first blog.

I started blogging to get feelings and

emotions out that I felt were holding me

back from being able to heal and go on.

After a short while I felt as though I

was dwelling on to many negative

thoughts so I decided to make a more

positive blog and boy I have to say it

has really been great!

What's something your readers know

about you?

That I love taking pictures just about

as much as I love my family.

What can't you live without?

Thats very simple. My wonderful

 supportive husband and my even

 more wonderful children.

What inspires your blog posts?

My posts are mostly inspired by what

I'm doing or whats going on around

the perdew house. I love to post

recipes that the family raves over as

well as activities that I'm sure others

may like to do.

What do you do when you feel

uncreative?

Facebook!! check out my followers

blog and see what everyone is up to

and I also love my pinterest

How has blogging changed you?

All the positive comments I have

gotten make me very happy. I've

opened up a bit as where before I

started blogging I was one to just sit

and read  with out participating in

conversations due to being shy. I

 Have actually chatted with some

wonderful new people.

What advice do you have for new

bloggers?

I still consider myself to be new at the

blogging thing and have self taught

myself of everything my page has. To

new bloggers I say if you have

questions google it or check youtube

and don't get discouraged it will all

work out and most importantly it's

 fun.

2. If you had to live in a different time period which would you prefer??

I really believe I was born in the wrong era already. If I could live in a different time period I would choose to be a 50's mom. I Already know I could be a kick ass June Cleaver.

3. What is the most creative Halloween Costume you've ever worn??

I've always loved dressing up for Halloween. I did most of my creative costumes when I was little and most of the time I was a Punk rocker. Last year was a pretty good costume too. I was a dead bride

4. Five weird things about you we wouldn't know without being told??

1. Absolute horror fanatic. to the the gorier the better.

2. Super obsessive crazy about the color blue.

3. I take pictures of anything and everything that I deem interesting.

4. I can not sleep in a bed that is not properly made.

5. My favorite sweet is strawberry, I love strawberry cake, ice cream, icing, you name it. If it's strawberry it will win me over.

5. What would you tell your 16 year old self??

College, College, college!! I can't say not to marry my first husband because I would end up missing out of my 3 wonderful children so I guess my only regret would not be finishing college!! (messege!!)

SHHHHH!! TEN SECRETS

Linking up today for the 10 day you challenge for the first time so excited to see how this goes. So here we go.

SHHHHH TEN SECRETS!!

1. When I get upset I bite my nails without knowing, Sometimes till they bleed.
2. I honestly wish we could move far far away.

3. Since I've gotten older I've become such a lush I cry at movies and some tv shows.

4. I secretly wish I could feel comfortable in my own skin.

5. Over the last few years I feel I have slowly lost my muchness.

6. I blame myself when others treat me bad or take advantage of my willingness to help.

7. I compensate my inability to have more children by getting more pets.

8. Because I was abused as a child I am very protective over my children and in some way feel that I have caused them to miss out on things other kids have been able to enjoy.

9. I love to make bake and cook all sorts of recipes but absolutely loath doing dishes.

10. It's no secret to anyone who knows me personally but my mother is my true kryptonite.

WOW. Coming up with 10 secrets was harder than I thought. But heres my list. Thanks for stopping by and checking it out.

MONDAY LISTICLES

                   http://www.northwestmommy.com/2012/monday-listicles-64

10 ABSOLUTE MUST HAVES FOR MY DREAM WEDDING.

1. A place to have the wedding

I would like to have my wedding in the mountains either in an old country church or with a beautiful waterfall in the back ground.

2. Something to arrive in
It's my day to be a princess so why not arrive in a carriage fit for a princess.

3. THE RING!!
I'm extremely easy to please on this one. All I want is a ring that has at least 1 karat and the band is platinum.

 4. The Groom
This is the easiest part of all because I already have the best groom in the world.

5. The Dress
I love the look of an A line dress on my body. I've already tried on one just like this and decided this is the one I want.

6. Grooms Tux
My colors would of course be black, white and blue for the simple fact that I LOVE BLUE!!!

7. My bouquet
I love these colors in this bouquet and love the idea of having something other than the traditional roses.

8. family in the wedding
My best friend as my 1st maid of honor
My son Vinny to walk me down the isle

Both boys would be James' best men

My daughter would be my other maid of honor

9. The Cake
He wanted chocolate and strawberries and I wanted traditional so we liked this one. That way we got the best of both worlds.

 10.The Kiss

The kiss after we renew our vows to each other at the end of my dream wedding.

I know there are other things like the officiate and the reception that have been left out but this is my list of 10 things that would make my dream wedding come true.
